Description
The AFA will assist the franchise advisor in working with clients to help them achieve their financial goals. We will lead you as you hone your skills, build a client base and service existing clients. You will be instrumental in providing client relationship support through managing, gathering and analyzing client data, helping prepare financial plans and other deliverables, resolve issues and other practice tasks. Responsibilities may change over time to meet the needs of the practice and can include other duties as assigned by the advisor.
Responsibilities:
Identify clients for financial planning and advice.
Assess clients’ risk tolerance, goals and time frame.
Prepare for client meetings by gathering and analyzing data.
Participate in case study and develop recommendations.
Research investments and develop product solutions.
Create financial planning deliverables.
Conduct client meetings to present recommendations or deliver advice.
Conduct transactions on behalf of clients or financial advisor(s).
Service existing clients, execute trades and determine strategic rebalancing.
Document and update client records based on interactions.
Identify practice efficiency and process improvements.
Develop and implement a marketing plan to meet client acquisition goals.
Contact prospects and participate in client appreciation events/seminars.

Qualifications:
Previous 3+ years of experience in financial operations or planning.
Securities licenses are a must (Series 7, Series 63, 65 or 66), Life/Health Insurance and Variable products.
Skilled in Microsoft Office (especially Teams) to create effective presentations.
Proficient in CRM technology, eMeeting, trading platforms and planning tools.
Experience with Ameriprise Tools, MoneyGuidePro and ThomsonOne is a substantial plus.
