Be part of the Global Operations team that operates out of the US, UK, and India. Ensure timely and accurate settlement of domestic, foreign, and currency transactions for all product types, which includes all operational aspects of processing transactions from trade confirmation, instruction, fail management, country opening documentation, and reconciliation. Be responsible for Fund Order/Unit dealing processes and for managing broker/counterparty, custodian, and trader relationships. Provide support for various projects / initiative for the Product/ Front office/ business. Provide testing of systems, generate ad-hoc reports and assist in miscellaneous projects, as needed, for enhancements or regulatory requirements. Provide quality service and information to partners/clients. Work with both internal and external parties / stakeholders to share information, resolve problems and improve processes/procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact brokers or review electronic trade matching to ensure domestic and international trades are matched on key trade information.
  • Instruct the custodians to ensure timely settlements of all domestic and international transactions for all products and security types.
  • Manually instruct on derivative and currency transactions as needed.
  • Adequately manage fails for timely resolution to minimize risk to the department.
  • Work closely with Trading teams to resolve any trade questions or corrections.
  • Identify trends of failed trades to reduce risk for missing or incorrect instructions, or system limitations. Support Prime Broker processes, which includes collateral monitoring, administrator correspondence, oversight, etc.
  • Manage relationships with brokers, custodian, prime brokers, vendors, sub-advisors, and traders to ensure professional relationships. Maintain Settlements Instruction database with broker instructions.
  • Provide support for various projects/initiatives for the Product/Front office/business. Provide testing of systems, generate ad-hoc reports, and assist in miscellaneous projects, as needed, for enhancements or regulatory requirements. Provide quality service and information to partners/clients.
  • Attend team meetings, leader's regular meetings, and trainings. Drive and contribute to local, functional initiatives.
