Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Product Specialist to support our Advisory Product Management team. This role involves process documentation, data validation, audit support, and coordination across multiple platforms and stakeholders. The candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain documentation for processes and workflows.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of data through regular validations and audits.
Organize and facilitate meetings with internal teams and external partners.
Provide timely updates and maintain clear communication across stakeholders.
Support system updates and releases through testing and validation.
Monitor and review data to maintain compliance and operational standards.
Assist in managing strategy-related requests and work plans.
Track progress, gather necessary materials, and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
Respond to inquiries and escalations related to advisory products.
Address exceptions and ensure resolution in line with established guidelines.
Provide support for audit activities and compliance reporting as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of financial services experience
Strong organizational and task management skills
Proactive approach and clear communication
Attention to detail, accuracy, and a high level of personal accountability
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a variety of responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working with financial advisors
SEI / Series 7
Working knowledge of systems and tools (such as BETA Host, Thomson One/Refinitiv)
Understanding of the advisory business with a willingness to learn and expand knowledge, along with familiarity and experience with Ameriprise products.
In-Office Collaboration
We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least three (3) days per week, with flexibility to work from home two (2) days per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
